Frog have reduced the weight of this model by using smaller tube diameters and thinner tube walls. The Frog 44 weighs only 6.39kg. Along with this weight saving, Frog have lowered the bottom bracket to achieve a more ergonomic position on the bike. One of the biggest temptations is to buy a bike your child will ‘grow into’. However, this is likely to have the opposite effect and put your child off bikes and cycling altogether! This new frame has a longer steerer tube which includes a 10mm spacer on top of the stem. This allows room to move the handlebars into a higher position as they grow. Another common mistake is to purchase a budget bike, but these models are often as heavy as the child and leads to tears and frustration at not being able to cycle. Frog’s lightweight bikes are a great confidence booster and can also be used as a balance bike for a taller child by removing the pedals. Wheels Delivery
Delivery cost: £9.99
We endeavour to deliver all wheels within 4 working weeks of component selection, sign off and payment. Delivery may subject to delay if any selected components are not available from suppliers. We will endeavour keep clients informed on progress and supply a tracking number for deliveries. We will offer free delivery throughout the UK.
Warranty
We are very proud of our wheels and offer a full guarantee and free repair on any wheel that develops a fault within 1 year that is not due to rider error, accidents or excessive wear or tear. Wheels with evidence of, or suffering from, poor installation or repair, those that have been modified, those that have been used for purposes they were not built for, those showing signs of cosmetic or aesthetic marks, or those damaged in shipping to or from us are not covered by this warranty.
It is the wheel users responsibility to examine the wheel(s) on a regular basis to determine the need for service or replacement. If the component (rim or hub) fails through no fault of our own, then providing it is within the manufacturer’s guarantee period, the part should be returned to us to inspect and take appropriate action. The client will be responsible for the cost of returning any faulty wheels or components to us.
Free truing service – we will always true your Ryan’s Wheels for free for life. You pay for postage, and we will true them.
Repairs – Accidents can happen but no need to worry we can repair or rebuild our wheels or other brands too. We can rebuild wheels, upgrade the hub or spokes or build a favourite hub onto a new rim. Contact us for a quote.
Ryan’s Wheels Refund Policy
All our wheels are custom built and made to order. Unfortunately, this means that we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for these products.
Amending or Cancelling Orders
So, you have decided to place an order with us for some of our customised hand-built wheels. Amazing! Thank-you. After you have placed the order we will contact you before any work begins to confirm all aspects of the build. It is at this point that you will have a chance to discuss the build and decide on any amendments that you may wish to make. Any amendments that are made may cause a change in price depending on what is being changed.
If at the point that we contact you before the build starts to confirm the details of the build you decide to cancel the order, we will be happy to offer you a refund minus an admin fee of £20. Refunds will be processed using the original method of payment.
After build details have been confirmed and work has begun there is no scope for further amendments or cancellations.
